Ben Carries Ball

carries a tennis ball up the steps. This picture was taken in Bill's Mom's
home in Ohio around Christmas 1996. This was a good time for her -- wrestling
and playing, and even carrying large objects like tennis balls up the steps.
On Feb 7, 1997, just about a month later, she had an operation to remove a
large tumor from her pancreas which turned out to be lymphosarcoma. When this
picture was taken we had no idea that anything was wrong. After the operation
she went on chemotherapy. She then had about 6 more good months before dying
on August 22, 1997 after lymphoma invaded her pancreas again.
