Clare Gives Ben Her Medicine
Here Ben
is licking Nutrical off of Clare's finger. During Ben's struggle with
lymphoma the last six months of her life we gave Ben several medicines --
predisone to help fight her cancer, amoxicillin to ward off an infection
that might try to get past an immune system weakened by chemotherapy, and
carafate to help a queasy digestive system. She usually would take her
medicine willingly if mixed with Nutrical. This picture was taken about a
month before Ben's death.
